Going to a specialist wedding gown cleaner with lots of happy brides and years of experience is obviously going to make you feel much more confident. So here is some really helpful advice from Karen at WGCC.

If you are looking to get your wedding dress cleaned ready to store then these answers should help.
What will it cost?
Prices can vary depending on stains and the number of layers of the dress.
For example – Small gowns (3 layers) from £99, Medium gown (3-5 layers) from £109, Large gown (over 5 layers) from £119. Veils from £10.
Boxes for storage from £40 to £50.
Can you remove all stains?
Some stains can be stubborn and may not fully come out, however Karen will do her very best to remove them without causing any damage to your wedding dress.
Whilst Karen can not guarantee all stains will be removed, she can guarantee that she will clean your dress to the best of her ability to achieve the best results possible, whilst protecting the integrity of the fabric.
Can all wedding dresses be cleaned?
It is extremely rare that a wedding dress can not be cleaned, even if it is labelled ‘Dry Clean Only’.
Can you repair any damage to my wedding dress?
Absolutely! Karen’s team is made up of highly skilled bridal technicians who have worked within the wedding industry for over 30 years. Nothing ever phases her team.
However, if there is a particular area of damage that requires extensive work, she’ll contact you to discuss any major repairs required, and quote you a price for this before any work is carried out.
Is my wedding dress insured with you?
Yes, all wedding dresses received are all fully insured for loss or damage.
How do I get my wedding dress to you?
Pack your dress in a box (any box) and send it to Karen. Your dress will be returned to you packed beautifully in acid free tissue paper for preservation. How long does this process take?
Karen’s full process takes on average 2 to 3 weeks. This gives plenty of time to perform any repairs and clean your dress to the highest standard possible.
Can you rush my order?
Yes! At WGCC they have an ‘Express Clean’ option available for our Pearl, Opal, Crystal and Diamond cleaning packages. They aim to have your dress cleaned and returned to you within 10 days of receiving it, however if you need it back even quicker than this please do get in touch direct with Karen at WGCC to discuss. Please note that ‘express’ and ‘clean only’ packages do not include a luxury keepsake box.
Will you stay in contact with me?
After the collection of your dress you’ll receive an email to let you know when it has arrived with Karen and her team for peace of mind. You may not hear again within the turnaround time unless they need to contact you to discuss any major repair work with you. Karen will be in touch at the end of the cleaning and repair process with your beautiful after images, and at this time they will ask you to confirm your delivery address and a date that suits best for their courier to deliver your dress back to your door.
Can I see my dress before it gets posted back to me?
Yes, as soon as your dress has been cleaned you’ll receive an email with ‘after images’ so you can see how beautiful it looks. This also saves you from bringing it back out of the storage box once it has been expertly packed away.
Can you clean my veil?
Yes, we offer various veil cleaning services. You can also add a veil clean on to any of the packages before adding it to your cart.
What can I say on my personalised box?
