Being told Saltaire Bridal was a finalist in not one but two categories for the inaugural Quirky Wedding Fair Awards was a total shock, it was totally completely out of the blue and one that I felt very honoured to receive.
The two categories are ‘Most Unique Wedding Wear’ and ‘Inclusivity & Diversity’ both hold a large part of my heart and are true passions for me.
The other finalists were mostly established businesses so I was truly grateful to even be placed alongside these amazing wedding businesses, although to be honest I didn’t expect any more than a finalist.
So to then be told I have been awarded Highly Commended for the ‘Most Unique Wedding Wear’ 2023 across the UK is a totally WOW moment.
A massive congratulations to all the Winners especially Katie at AltWedding Co for the ‘Inclusivity & Diversity’ Award, Katie does so much to promote these important factors so this is well deserved.
For a small independent boutique, under 2 years old, it is incredible to see that the kind of business I set out to create with Saltaire Bridal is recognised by fantastic wedding professionals.
I am always searching for the ‘unique’ bridal pieces that are also affordable and honoured to stock collections that are only sold through Saltaire Bridal. This has resulted in brides-to-be travelling to visit the boutique from across the UK and as far south as London, Kent and Wales and Newcastle, Liverpool and Southport in the North.
So as I swell with pride at this fab award, I’m looking forward to welcoming lots of new brides-to-be arranging their weddings in 2024 and beyond so that everyone’s uniqueness is catered for.
A fantastic end to 2023.
