As an off the peg boutique you find your dress, you buy your dress and you take it home. This will alleviate any worries you may have of delayed arrivals from outside the UK due to Brexit and transport issues. Plus if you have a last minute wedding or one that is happening in the next few months then it’s even more perfect for you.

Yes, wedding dress shopping is super special and unlike larger stores we offer exclusivity of the boutique during your appointment, just you and your entourage. You will receive our full attention – you are after all the most important person at the appointment.

No, on street level we have our Bridal Gallery full of fabulous accessories and the place I will welcome you. The Dressing Room is downstairs and totally private.

If you are unable to manage the stairs please do let us know in advance, we do have a changing area in our Bridal Gallery (street level) and we have screens that would protect your modesty.

No, we can offer you refreshments however we do not hold a licence for serving alcohol. We have made arrangements with local restaurants and bars who will be happy to book you in after your appointment to have a bridal celebration. Your dress appointment will be up to 2 hours – plenty of time to try dresses on and not feel rushed.

Your accessories appointment will be 45 minutes.

All we would love you to wear is your engagement ring and a big smile. What is not needed is fake tanning and lots of make up – our beautiful gowns are not fans of these.

We can accommodate up to 4 other people over 12 years old.

I advise brides, attending a bridal appointment to make alternative arrangements for children and to share this information to your entourage if they ask to bring their children too.

Why? Firstly, choosing a wedding dress is a very important decision and one you want to fully concentrate on during your appointment. Secondly, the dressing room is downstairs, and as a listed building doesn’t have a lift. The space is ideal for up to 4 people so not suitable for an additional pram/buggy.

My brides and their entourage say by arranging childcare they get to fully enjoy the experience much more.

For any exceptional circumstances please do ask.

The boutique is situated on Victoria Road opposite Victoria Hall and next to Shipley College Building. Parking is permitted on the nearby streets for up to 2 hours, although some spots are 30 minutes or permit parking only so please check before leaving your car.

There is also a car park on Caroline Street, Shipley BD18 3LF which is 2 minutes walk from the boutique – minimal charges do apply via machine and RingGo.

Of course you can, it’s more important to me that you are totally happy with your decision, I get it – it’s a bit deal! As you see we are off the peg which means that we only have one of each dress in that size, contact us as soon as possible if it’s a Yes from you and if the dress is still in the boutique then it is yours.

No, we just don’t have the space and as a bonus you get to look at your gown as often as you like.

Dresses can be made smaller by about two sizes and can be altered to fit you perfectly.  If your chosen dress is a little too small for you there are possibilities for adjustments too. We can put you in touch with seamstresses or you are welcome to find your own, we can discuss that in our appointment.

Our prices start at £150 for separates, £700 up to £2000 for dresses and the majority of our dresses around the £1000 mark which will have up to 70% off the recommended retail price (RRP) – great right!

Our accessories start at £20 and go up to £280.

Payment is taken in full and you take your dress home the same day. Payment can be made by cash, debit/credit card (except American Express) or bank transfer.

Your appointment will be only you and your entourage, the boutique space is entirely yours during that time.

A private, well stocked toilet with a free hospitality basket, full of the essentials, is at your disposal. Please note, the toilet is downstairs and due to the heritage listed building we cannot change this.

If you or any member of your group are unable to manage stairs please do let us know in advance.

We do play background music which can be turned off if required.

We provide free bottled water and sweets.

We are told how lovely the boutique smells with the diffusers and room sprays we use. If you require these to be removed or not used for your appointment please do let us know.

Fans keep us cool in the hot weather and heating keeps us warm on the colder days.
