Established in 2022, Saltaire Bridal is a modern, welcoming bridal boutique nestled in the heart of Saltaire Village, one of Yorkshire's most beautiful destinations.  A  UNESCO World Heritage Site, Saltaire is known for its cobbled streets, Victorian charm and creative, independent spirit. Our beautiful boutique sits on Victoria Road, surrounded by gorgeous architecture, artisan businesses and the warm, welcoming feel that makes Saltaire such a special place to find your wedding dress.

Hi, I'm Carly, proud owner of Saltaire Bridal.

Owning a bridal boutique is a dream come true for me.  I must have told my friend Nina about this dream once and when she heard that Tracy, the founder of Saltaire Bridal, was retiring and looking to sell the business, she called me straight away!  So I went to see Tracy, joined a couple of appointments and was hooked!  I just knew this what I wanted to do.  So I'm a big advocate of shouting about your dreams - you never know who is listening and where it could lead!

I have a wonderful husband and three gorgeous sons, so at home I am surrounded by all things boys - and the mess and mud they create!  So I absolutely adore being in my beautiful boutique, surrounded by stunning bridalwear, helping you lovely brides to look and feel amazing.

I bring calm, patience and can-do vibes to your appointment and love hearing all about your wedding, your other half and all about you.  I encourage you to be open and honest about everything you try on during your appointment so that we can learn what you love together - and find you the perfect dress or wedding wear.

OUR BOUTIQUE

The boutique is modern, creative and couture‑feeling — without the pomp, stuffiness or premium price tags. Think soft lighting, curated rails, thoughtful styling touches and a space designed to help you relax, breathe and enjoy the moment.

We specialise in off‑the‑peg wedding dresses, jumpsuits and separates from well‑known designers alongside one‑off, jaw‑dropping pieces you won’t find anywhere else. Most gowns sit around or under £1,000, with a range from £700–£1,800, because we believe every bride deserves exceptional choice and service, whatever her budget.

WHAT HAPPENS AT YOUR BRIDAL APPOINTMENT?

Your appointment at Saltaire Bridal is all about choice without overwhelm. From the moment you step through the door, you’re welcomed into a calm, supportive environment where you can explore different styles and feel completely celebrated.

Here’s what to expect:

  • A warm hello and a relaxed chat about your wedding, your style and what you’re drawn to
  • We will look at a selection of dresses and weddingwear together and you choose the ones you want to try — completely led by your taste, your vibe and what feels like you.  With maybe a wild card or two thrown in there too.
  • Time to try on, move, breathe and get all the feels
  • Honest, expert guidance — never pushy, always supportive
  • Space for your guests to enjoy the moment with you
  • A joyful, memorable experience that leaves you feeling confident, happy and excited to wearing your dress again

It’s not every day you shop for the most important dress you’ll ever wear — and we make sure it feels as special as it should.

And after your appointment?  

If you buy an off the peg dress, you can take it away with you on the day!

If you opt for a made to order dress, I will measure you up, take full payment and then order a dress that's the closest size to your measurements.  When your dress arrives, we will arrange a collection appointment where you can try her on and make sure everything is just so.

I work with some wonderful magicians who call themselves seamstresses so will give you their details so you can book directly with them to make sure your dress fits like a glove.  They can also make any alterations and customisations you would like to make to the dress.

You can celebrate finding you dress with brunch in one of the cosy cafés, cocktails in one of Saltaire's gorgeous bars and restaurants, a wander through Salts Mill, or a stroll by the river.
